Worked like a charm!

Should I just be really.happy, all the time?

Should I have a messy, chaotic house and unfinished projects, and unstarted projects but just be really super relaxed about it?How relaxed is too relaxed? After all, I know it well that a big part of the goodness that comes from my being home comes from my just.

And Kennedy knowing that I’ll be there. With snacks and help with homework and time on my hands to sit and do nothing after school for a while..

I guess what I’m saying is, I can tell, just from the shear amount of thought that I put into this new job of mine, that I love it, and it’s something I care deeply about, but staying home is hard!I’ve been seeing all these garden posts around blogland the past couple of weeks so I thought I’d throw ours into the mix as well.

We may have bitten off a little more than we can chew with this fairly large vegetable garden we dug up last Fall, but it should at least be an interesting learning experience..So, I’ve been trying to get back into shape after having a baby.

Pair that with the fact that it’s been pretty much the coldest, darkest Winter ever this year, AND the fact that whenever I have kids at home (which I do all the time now) I seem to get ridiculous violent cravings for sweets, and you’ve got a pretty ugly situation. It would probably be funnier if I said “On my thighs”, but I’m more of a belly fat kinda girl.. Well.

Let me tell you something. If you’re a belly fat kinda girl like me, then apparently the thing you should be eating to boost your metabolism is lots of protein and cinnamon, to balance your blood sugar..
